For Sale!... or Trade! Item: 26' Contessa w/ Yanmar Diesel and Custom Galvanized Trailer! $6,500 Description: Boat: Hull Number ___. Built in Canada in 197_. In the history of this famous cruising sailboat, the best hulls were laid in Canada. Tania Aebi, famous for being the youngest female solo circumnavigator, at age 18, and now a long time sailing and cruising figure, completed her circumnavigation in a Contessa 26. This boat has attained an almost cult following for it's sailability, strength, power, and safety. This is one of those legendary boats that can take more than you can! Blue water boat... on a trailer! Passagemaking is better at 60 MPH to windward! Summer in Puget Sound, Winter in Baja! I may keep this boat, as I planned to use it to cruise extensively, but am now in a position to get a bigger boat. Am open to trades for bigger cruising boats...
